The
weekend just gone (21st/22nd May), William went down to
Wellington for the NZ Kyokushin Karate Championship. In his age group (8-9 years) he came 3rd
in the Males Elite Junior Kata.
He then
had two fights in his age group in which he both won very easily and then
became the NZ Junior Champion in 8-9 years.
He
represented Papakura Kyokushin Karate Club honourably and his Sensei (Rhenndy
Vissor) along with everybody else in his club were all very extremely happy
with William.
Not bad
for someone who has only been doing Kyokushin Karate for 1 ½ years.
