Kelvin Road School held its annual Poetry Recital competition last week and these are the finalists that presented their poems plus the winners for each section of the Competition. The competition was a culmination of weeks of work where every child in the Middle and Senior Syndicate and the Year 3 to 8 in Te Whatitoka Rimu o te Whanau Kahurangi presented their poems to their peers in class. Each class then sent the best 2 to represent them at the finals in front of most of the school.
