Mr Nissen and Whaea Neroli

Mr Nissen came to Kelvin Road School today to speak to the children about ANZAC day and Poppy day.

Dear Mr Nissen,
Thank you for coming to our school and talking about ANZAC dayand talking about the wars. Thank you also for going to war for New Zealand. Thank you also for risking your life so that we can have peace with other countries and a future for us. I hope to see you on ANZAC day marching with the other soldiers and happy ANZAC day to you.

    Dear Kelvin Road Students and Staff, you all are very fortunate to have such amazing speakers at your cool school. I am sure you have learnt heaps about the importance of this special day in New Zealand History.
    Have a Happy ANZAC Day 2010.
