In the spirit of reciprocity, Te Whatitoka Rimu o te Whanau Kahurangi hosted the kapahaka group from Cosgrove School to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Maori. The group was welcomed by the entire school with a powhiri. The Principal from each school (Mr Gus Klein from Cosgrove School and Mrs Heather Tanner from Kelvin Road School) spoke of the importance of the relationship between the two schools before the Cosgrove School kapa haka group performed for Kelvin Road School.
Kelvin Road School responded with Kahui Haka Tirahatia ra.
