Junior School Poetry Competition

JUNIOR AREA POETRY COMPETITION

The finals of the Junior Area Poetry Competition were held on Thursday 8 September and were judged by the Principal,  Mr Robertson and the Assistant Principal, Mrs Quist .

The results were:

Year 0/1:       1st - Quinten Rissetto, Room 11;

                     2nd — Hope Saufoi, Room 10;

                     3rd—Muriel Toomata-Lemafa, Room 9

Year 2:         1st - Waimarie Peawini, Room 22;

                    2nd - Genelle Matthews, Room 5;

                    3rd—Keara Coromandel, Room 9

Year 3:        1st—Jonni Tahere, Room 21;

                   2nd - William Matafeo, Room 15;

                   3rd— Te Rauhuia, Arapiu-Rutene, Room 4.

Overall Trophy Winner : Waimarie Peawini, Room 22
