Book Week

The last week of term 3 saw Book Week come alive at Kelvin Road School. There were many exciting activities, including a dance performance from Room 23, a visit from the police dogs, buddy reading and trips to the Papkura Library. which saw some classes practised the drop, cover and hold in the nation wide Big Shake Out.
During book week, the senior school entered a book week quiz, the first of its kind at our school (see blog below). With many visitors including Judith from the Papakura Courier and the Papakura Library team it was a big reading fest followed by a fantastic parade of characters on Friday morning. Thank you to all those that made Book Week a huge success.
